New Burning Regulations for 2017
May 28, 2015No burning of leaves or any other items shall be permitted commencing on year 2017 and all years thereafter. Recreational fires are permitted provided they are enclosed by an “Recreational Fire Enclosure”. A Recreational Fire Enclosure is defined as a pit on cleared earth enclosed on all sides by masonry, concrete, rock material or metal not exceeding sixteen square feet or a metal, masonry or ceramic container designed for such purposes not exceeding sixteen square feet. Burn barrels of any sort are prohibited. This does not include cooking food outdoors in any permanent or temporary outdoor fireplace, grill or barbecue pit.
